Turn over most treat bags and you’ll find a long list of ingredients. Ours has one. Here’s why we think simpler is better.
You know exactly what your dog is eating
With a single-ingredient treat there’s nothing to decode: no binders, no grain, no glycerin, no artificial preservatives. Just meat.
Easier on sensitive dogs
Many dogs don’t do well with common proteins like chicken or beef. A single, novel protein such as axis deer or lamb can make it much easier to find treats that agree with your dog — and to rule things out if something doesn’t.
Rotation made simple
Because each treat is one protein, it’s easy to rotate between them — deer jerky one week, lamb the next — to keep things interesting without adding new ingredients.
As always, if your dog has allergies or a special diet, check with your veterinarian before trying something new.
